Seeking a FIELD SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE to help companies successfully promote themselves through trade shows, events, and retail atmospheres.

JOB DESCRIPTION:           

Responsible for efficient, cost-effective supervision of installation and dismantling of exhibits at show sites that meets client requirements.  Includes management of client exhibit properties, travel to show sites for supervision of installation and handling of related services.

COMPANY INFORMATION:

JC Rose & Associates is a full service trade show exhibit and store fixture builder located in Greenville, SC.  Business-to-business sales of portable and modular displays, custom exhibits, store fixtures, and peripherals (lighting, truss, etc.).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Show-site point of contact for clients and show service-related vendors
  • Oversees labor crews at show site
  • Contributes to the maintenance of files for each client pertaining to show schedule, floor plans, and display properties
  • Works in a team environment as well as on own initiative
  • Completes paperwork related to client projects including shipping documents, show service orders, and project recaps.
  • Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm but working hours will vary depending on client show schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:         

  • Two-year Degree (Business or Marketing preferred) or 3 years exhibit industry experience
  • Willing to get physically hands-on including experience with hand and power tools
  • Must be willing to travel (by air) up to 50% of the year
  • Ability to think on your feet and make on-the-spot decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to be diplomatic in tense situations
  • Customer service experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software suites
  • Willing to learn not only all facets of exhibiting, but also the key elements of each represented client's business
  • 1-3 years exhibit industry experience preferred
