President's Notes

As many of you are probably aware, March is Exhibitor Show month.  It is our industry's "Rite of Spring" event.  The show this year was well attended, considering the state of the economy and our exposition industry.  While there were about 10% fewer exhibitors, there were 22% more attendees than last year. Besides a good show floor and the usual educational classes, there were two important side events:

TSEA, the Trade Show Exhibitors Association, released its "Bill of Rights" and EIC, the Exhibitor Industry Council, had a press conference to introduce its "Best Practices" program for the exhibition industry as a whole.  In this newsletter, I have provided you with the TSEA document, and next time I will deliver the EIC document.  Both of these papers are about what is right and fair, and how each of us from various parts of the industry must work together for the betterment and profitability of all parties.  JC Rose & Associates endorses what you will see here. As both an exhibitor and an exhibit builder I believe changes must be made for our industry and marketing medium to grow and sustain itself.  Please feel free to contact me about anything you see here.

Waggin' Train debuts 50x30 exhibit

Waggin' Train

Waggin' Train brought their custom two-story booth alive with a Western theme. Highlights included an authentic chuck wagon, tons of product display space in the old time "mercantile", a private second story meeting room, and friendly puppies!  Their booth quickly became a destination for all attendees of the 2010 Global Pet Expo held in March in Orlando, FL.

New Product Spotlight

We love the new Expand BrochurePocket for its quick and easy install. The Expand BrochurePocket is a durable, transparent literature holder that can be attached to retractable and non-retractable displays as well as the Expand PodiumCase. Simply attach the pocket to a graphic panel with the supplied super magnets on either side.  Each BrochurePocket comes with two holders, two sets of super magnets, and two brackets (for attaching to podiums).
